# Anthony Tadina > Staff Product Designer at Cash App · Previously Square, Affirm, Uber Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/anthonytadina I’m a product designer with 15+ years making complex products grow into new territory — without breaking what already works. I've spent my career at moments of change: when a product needs a new capability, a new vertical, or a new business model, but can’t afford to start from scratch. I work best inside existing systems, understanding the constraints and structure of what’s already there, then extending it in ways that hold up over time. Currently at Cash App (Block, Inc.), previously at Square, Affirm, and Uber. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area. https://www.anthonytadina.com/ ## Work Experience ### Staff Product Designer @ Cash App Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco, CA Defining earning experiences for Cash App’s millions of users. • Defined the interaction model for payment links, transforming a listings-based concept into a streamlined request flow. Scaled to GA. • Developing the initial vision for a Modern Earner initiative, building the strategic and design foundation for how Cash App approaches income visibility beyond the Paychecks applet. ### Staff Product Designer @ Square Jan 2021 – Jan 2025 | San Francisco, CA Led design for Square Appointments’ expansion into the fitness vertical, introducing new scheduling and revenue models while preserving backwards compatibility for existing sellers. • Designed Classes, extending Square Appointments from 1:1 to capacity-based group bookings. Anchored decisions around fitness studio workflows to prevent scope creep across a broader fitness market. • Designed and launched Packages, introducing a credit-based entitlement model unifying purchase, redemption, and scheduling across Square’s ecosystem. Pushed back on shortcuts that would have misapplied existing retail infrastructure. ### Staff Product Designer @ Affirm, Inc. Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | San Francisco, CA Expanded Affirm’s design surface beyond the checkout moment into everyday financial engagement. • Redirected Cash Back Rewards away from a standalone rewards destination toward automatic deposits into Affirm’s existing high-yield savings account, creating a differentiator competitors couldn’t easily match. • Refreshed the native mobile shopping experience to improve merchant discovery, extending engagement beyond the moment of purchase. Increased loan originations and 90-day repeat origination rate. ### Senior Product Designer @ Uber Jan 2015 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area Designed across driver-facing and internal products during Uber’s pre-IPO growth phase. • Contributed to Uber Pro, embedding tiered rewards into high-frequency driver surfaces through cross-team negotiation. Reduced driver cancellations by 25–30% and increased trip acceptance by 1–2%. • Led design of Bliss, Uber’s internal support platform, unifying rider, driver, and trip data into a single workspace and replacing fragmented third-party tools.
