Significantly improved performance of the mixbook.com's storefront, making it blazing fast. Using Webpack/TypeScript/Node/React, improving the performance 2-3 times compared to the previous version of the storefront.

Before that I was a tech lead and an architect of the the new photo books online editor (a rewrite of the old Flex editor). It’s a fairly large application, written in React/Redux/TypeScript - I was building the architecture, that allows the team to develop it very fast and efficient, and also implemented a large piece of the app.

Mixbook is an online service for making photo books. My main projects there were:

* Working on redesigning of the mixbook.com site, architecting and implementing new front-end.

* Working on frontend and backend of our new project - https://www.montagebook.com.

Working as a lead front-end developer on http://www.astrology.com. Implemented a new look of the site, using https://gist.github.com/astashov/1190877 (how it looks right now), and a CMS for managing hundreds of thousands of horoscopes, using Ruby on Rails and JavaScript.
