I am currently in my second rotation as part of the Citigroup Technology analyst program. I am a software developer for the Global Securitized Markets technology team. We support the Securitized Products Database (SPEED) application, which is a SQL data repository for Mortgage Backed Securities. The information is utilized by Citi's Mortgage Quantitative Analysis (MQA) group. 

Projects include enhancing the Citigroup Mortgage Index database with new loan parameters, modifying a Python webscraper to extract loan data from various repositories, and  working with the MQA group to develop novel mortgage cohorts used for market analysis. The last project involved bash scripting, perl modules, and SQL components

For my first rotation, I provided technical support for the Global Debt Manager (GDM), Citidirect Issuer Paying Agent North America (CIPANA), Structured Finance Website (SF Web), Advantage Billing, and ABS Suites applications, all of which are in production.

Day-to-Day operations involved coordinating Change Requests and Incident Tickets for emergency DB fixes, application software updates, and hardware upgrades.
