I took responsibility of UX development including building a React component library, UX and UI design including prototyping and advocating UX methodologies across business units. · Working as an advisor to the SKF Design system team collaborating on Design systems process development. Working on the project taught me about implementing service design methods in order to build understanding of a large enterprise functions and how to manage varied customer expectations. The inventory was conducted within one full day at our office in Helsinki with the resulting stack of components and patterns being used as a basis for their design system project initiated soon after. I involved myself in site renovation projects as a UX development expert, from component design to design sprints. Took part in building a comprehensive design system, which is currently being implemented and developed further to benefit the clients online products. This greatly uplifted my understanding on how design principles and a foundation in communication leverage the overall productivity and predictability of the team. Teams in Veikkaus work by implementing Agile methodologies. Working in a Lean environment made it possible to communicate design and development best practices and constraints directly with the client. Advocating this iteration of design with development, made it possible for me to provide excellent customer service. Worked as a front end development consultant in a multivendor Agile team. We saw through the brand renewal where development was based on a visual identity with little regard for user experience. I involved myself in a lot of conversations and design decisions with the client and as a team we succeeded to deliver a product that was though through and on time. I produced several SPA applications for internal use at the company. My role here was to gather knowledge of users needs and project constraints which I implemented in design and development of the applications. In a small team we also developed a well received SPA application for use in the news reading about the 2011 parliamentary elections. Projects varied from bespoke interiors for private spaces to working in collaboration for renowned furniture and interior designers in production of their new pieces. I also co-designed the Bergen in-house collection and took part in competitions and collaborative exhibitions with my own pieces. ### Designer @ Now Office Jan 2006 – Jan 2007 | Helsinki Area, Finland Working as a part of an architecture practice. My responsibilities were the design and manufacture of bespoke furniture in office space renovation projects.
