Helped build a social media marketing mobile application connecting small business restaurants to social media users for advertising and marketing through providing discounts on meals.

• Designed and developed REST Services in Node.js and Express.js framework which were consumed by React Native client and ReactJS SPA (Single Page Application).

• Completed user and store authentication by developing the Forgot Password and Email Activation features with Node.js with Express.js through using JWT (JSON Web Token) and Amazon SES (Simple Email Service).

• Integrated Apple Maps and Google Maps API within application itself to provide individual location services for each restaurant by allowing users to view specific location details (address, directions, etc.) of a respective restaurant through a built-in Map component.

• Designed and built user screens using React Native and standard usability techniques and incorporated Mongoose framework to interact with backend MongoDB database.

As a research assistant, gathered requirements, designed and built a mobile application centralized around an intelligent food rescue system to connect

local food sources (grocery stores, restaurants, etc.) to food banks and shelters.

• Implemented and composed user screens using React Native and navigation between screens for optimal user flows.

• Extensively handled software packages such as expo-location and react-native geocoding to take in user’s current location and convert to latitude/longitude coordinates in order to map various locations of food sources, food banks, and shelters through the Google Maps API.

• Helped streamline the implementation of Google Authentication by successfully engineering Google Sign-In feature into our Log-In/Sign-Up user screen; thus

allowing users to login with and link their Google Account to the application.

• Used Expo CLI tools to test, debug, and run the React Native application.
