Design, Doodles, and Doughnuts- this pretty much sums up the highlights of my life. 

I am a graduate student at Purdue University's Masters in Computer Graphics Technology program in the UX Design Concentration.  Brainstorming with a sharpie, post-its and a notebook in hand, sketching out ideas, creating prototypes to see them take shape, is something that I am zealous about. When Don Norman coined the term ‘User Experience', he did not want computers to be ‘big and scary' machines that won't even fit in the car. Years of enhancing the design and now, it can fit in a shoulder bag. Likewise, I aspire to design interfaces that enhance the experience of the user by understanding them. 

Before Purdue, I did my undergraduate degree in Computer Science. I also joined a food delivery enterprise, Oye24 as a Web Development intern to get some hands-on industry experience where I worked on the user interface for the mobile app of Oye24.  With an eye to expanding my design experience, I also worked at Sambhav Design Studio as a Graphic Design intern. I worked on some independent redesign projects in this time span. I curated my own research on ‘Multisensory Experiences in HCI' to share with the community. I am a guest writer for publications like UX Collective and UX Planet and has recently published an article for the same. An amalgam of all these experiences has given me the much-needed impetus to nurture my passion for HCI and design.

Post MS, I envision myself as a successful UX designer creating seamless interfaces while staying abreast of the dynamic technology and design trends. With digitization permeating our lives, I want to work on making the systems I design, accessible to everyone from a 7-year-old autistic child to a 70-year-old with visual impairment. • Teaching 60+ students in both graduate and undergraduate design studios 
• Providing feedback and grading UX projects and exercises submitted by
   the students  while attending to minor details in process and presentation
• Assisting Prof. Colin Gray in managing the studio experience for both the
   UX studios conducted online, in-person as well as in a hybrid manner

### UX Design Intern @ Seekamentor

• Surveyed users and interviewed stakeholders as part of user 
    research into requirements and pain points of mentors and mentees
• Designed and evaluated the mentee side of the MVP solution through a 
    iterative design process including the UI of the search page, mentor 
    profile page and payment page to be deployed for our early customers 
• Advocated for user experience while collaborating in a cross 
   functional product team while engaging their perspectives throughout
• Handled the visual design aspect of brand promotion and social 
   media engagement (logo, posters, promotional videos) which attributed 
   to 1500+ followers in less than 2 months

   the software interface was usable and the vocabulary was understandable 
• Iteratively executed the design changes to expand on the current user interface.

### Web Development Intern @ Oye24

I worked on the payment gateway interface of the Oye24 website and mobile application. As a developer, I interacted with the stakeholders as well as the designers on the team. I also led some of the sprint meetings in this time period.
