- Created and sent custom performance metrics to a time series database. Formulated SQL queries, customized DataDog dashboards, and increased observability of the API performance of Rescale software. 
- Updated Django framework to enable rolling out new features to specific tiers of customers at a time.
- Containerized a worker service with Docker and integrated the new worker service infrastructure in an AWS Cloud Formation template file. Reduced costs of running worker services and EC2 instances by 75%.
- Created integration and unit tests and conducted testing on all production deployment stages

### Engineering Intern @ NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory

- Created and integrated a package into NASA JPL’s ECCO project that extracts regional subsets from the 3D ECCO model while preserving regional surrounding satellite and in situ observational data. 
- Designed and implemented an algorithm that reduces memory output requirements of extracting subsets from the 3D model by over 99%. 
- Made extensive use of the Message Passing Interface (MPI) to communicate information between processes and further reduce memory and computational costs.

- Built a program that processes satellite datasets through recursive methods and allow for scientists to efficiently generate parameter values utilized in related research.
- Devised an algorithm that simulates fluid dynamics from scratch to replace existing fluid flow generating Python modules. Generated raster models of processed satellite data with corresponding map coordinates to model on the Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS).
- Lead discussion of results and project design of existing research with the lead scientists and post-doctoral researchers to coordinate project and improve research on ice-ocean interaction for NASA’s Ocean Melting Greenland mission.
- Published an abstract on the American Geophysical Union (AGU) journal and displayed project at the AGU Fall 2018 Meeting at NASA Headquarters, Washington DC.

- Presented research on multiple transportation approaches to a Mars mission and utilization of local environment and resources of Mars.
