The application leverages the experience of paper and the power of digital medium to create more productive content. The gestures are inspired from the day-to-day interactions that people do while making notes or documenting information. The design of interactions was achieved by following a user-centered design process involving an extensive user study through semi-structured interviews and activity-based analysis of user’s interactions with pen, paper and tablets. The concept is further expanded to include tasks which enable the user to become a power user and accomplish other tasks associated with the application efficiently. ### UX Designer @ JDA Software Jan 2013 – Jan 2013 | Guwahati Area, India Designed and created a collaborative dashboard for master planners in the supply chain industry to aid them in efficient decision making and planning. A user-centered design approach was followed and literature research was done. Based on the user interviews, personas and use-cases sent by the client, insights were drawn through affinity analysis, storyboards, task flows etc. with respect to the roles, responsibilities and tasks of master planners. These insights were further used to showcase role specific data i.e. performance based indexes (KPI’s), trends, alerts/warnings, deadlines, etc. on a platform that could seamlessly integrated on desktops and other portable devices. Wireframes and Mockups were created for desktops and presented to the client. A high fidelity mid-functionality prototype was also presented to showcase workflow and interactions on dashboard. ### UX Research Assistant @ KAIST Jan 2013 – Jan 2013 | SEDL, KAIST, South Korea Worked on a research project called "I-sphere" and exploreed a novel hybrid interface which dynamically links a virtual reality based 3D interface object with multiple hypertext web pages.The project got published in the joint proceedings of India HCI 2013 and ApChI 2013.
