Collaborated in developing a software for short-term forecasting of electric load in several provinces in Iran. Examined the performance of several models for multi-step ahead forecasting including seasonal ARIMAX, support vector regression, generalized additive models, multi-layer neural network, and boosted trees. Investigated the effect of several exogenous variables including the previous and forecast values of the temperature and weather condition, calendar variables (e.g., holidays, religious events, important soccer matches). Worked with the software engineering team to develop the final product as a software as a service.

I developed and implemented a package in MATLAB named PulseWare for visualization and analysis of the credit card trans- actions of the costumers of over 15 banks in Iran.

Developed several machine learning models to predict which heroin addict patients will drop-out from a treatment. Analyzed and compared the data of the control and patients groups, collected in several behavioral experiments, using several statistical tests. Collaborated with a team of physicians to come-up with the most effective set of features for boosting the models' performance.
