Implement and maintain a fully scalable infrastructure for the MEAN stack. Expertise in building and maintaining Dockerized containers as well as using Kubernetes and CircleCI for automated scaling and deployment. Configuration of docker containers for all the services the application was dependent on (Nginx, Elasticsearch, Redis) along with maintaining stability and scalability across all services. 
Build, deploy and maintain a Recommender system using ALS (Alternating Least Squares) algorithm through PredictionIO's open source product, with Elasticsearch, HBase (as the backend datastore) and Apache Zookeeper for configuration management and synchronization. 
 Collaborate with Co-Workers on the development of new features. Build features from end to end with Node and AngularJS. Profile front and backend to ensure high levels of performance and efficiency across our entire application. 
 Build, deploy and now maintain our MongoDB Replica Set as well as setup monitoring and other tools to ensure optimization of queries. Write bash scripts to help make everyday pains be a bit less painful, for example copying database for local development or running scripts across environments. 
 Build and now maintain a high speed image server using Nginx, ImageMagick and edge caching. (courtesy of google services) Used Jira for project tracking software and git for source control. 
 Started at Gemr in the CEO's basement, I was the fifth employee and was brought on to build our iOS mobile application.
