Almost all activities I engage in professionally and personally stems from my inner desire to:

1) Understand the underlying mechanism of human society and the nature;
2) Test acquired understanding relentlessly by building and marketing products that improve societal productivity and connectivity with user experience that sparks joy and inspires awe. 

Always interested in entrepreneurship, I worked as a management consultant, a venture capital investor and a lifestyle brand founder after college to gain understanding and experience in a broad scope of business landscape. Besides, I learned something that is most valuable - I am a builder, and I want to dedicate my career to building software products. Through building, I interact with the world, learn about the world, and contribute to the world. Therefore, I decided to study CS at Columbia and become a software engineer.

Programming languages I am proficient in include Python, Java and JavaScript. I have built full-stack web apps (JavaScript, React, NodeJS, MongoDB), backend systems (Java, SQL, Spring Boot, Hibernate), iOS apps (Swift, UIKit, Foundation) and data analysis scripts (Python, R, Beautiful Soup, Pandas).
