* Worked on creating the frameworks to ingest managed data into our delta lake, focusing on minimizing latency and improving performance.
* Built a searchable tool for data discovery, adopting the open-source Amundsen into our ecosystem and driving the efforts to have product teams populate metadata for all managed data.

* Built an in-memory indexing framework for our core data, focused on minimizing latency for updates while also providing fast querying capabilities. This now powers several core pages used by Samsara customers.
* Became a core contributor to our Golang Graphql framework (Thunder), implementing features such as batching, federation, and directives.

Hack4Impact is an organization that partners students with nonprofits to build and ship intuitive and impactful products. I lead a team that worked to design and build a platform to help students in Cambodia learn English by paring them with tutors across the world. The platform provides a series of lesson modules that allow students to have notes, practice exams, and worksheets that they can work on with their tutors, receiving real-time feedback.  Using technologies such as GraphQL, Relay, and React, it was able to scale in areas with low internet connectivity and serve over 200 people every day.

### Software Engineering Intern @ Facebook

I worked with the React Native team within release engineering to implement bundle splitting on IOS. I worked on network optimizations such as prefetching and downloading the delta of the resource and patching it onto the cached version. Leveraging their real-time analytics platform, I was able to log the optimizations reaching over 30M users and providing over a 3x improvement.

### Data Infrastructure Intern @ OpenGov Inc.

I designed and built a customized SQL-like query language to parse queries, generate an AST, and validate the syntax and logical types. It also transforms the query to understand custom functions and talk to different SQL engines such as Spark, Presto, Postgress, etc. This library was integrated into the view pipeline to query financial and non-financial reports.
