# Arthur Zhuk > Just prompt more. I build modern & robust web applications. Location: Redmond, Washington, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/arthurzhuk Seasoned technology leader with a track record of developing scalable systems and fostering innovation, I aim to leverage my skills in a progressive environment. My objective is to collaborate across teams to drive strategic tech initiatives, develop systems that ensure consistent feature delivery, and mentor teams to excel in a fast-paced setting. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ InsightRX Jan 2023 – Present | San Francisco, California, United States ### Senior Software Engineer @ Saddle Jan 2021 – Jan 2022 Team lead for 3 engineers working on the development of the Saddle Exchange frontend. Implemented the Permissionless Pools and Claim Token Vesting components in React with the Hooks API and react-query. Developed API endpoints with NextJS serverless edge functions to calculate token prices from external APIs. This enabled the permissionless nature of deploying liquidity pools. Refactored the app’s state logic, decoupling from static, locally maintained values. Leveraged Cypress E2E test to ensure regression did not occur. This enables a system that scales, autonomously, with remote data coming from a “Registry” Solidity smart contract. Implemented the wagmi and RainbowKit Wallet libraries, reducing dev resources for wallet management and establishing a cleaner system for interfacing with contracts. Created the E2E testing Github Actions workflow for the CI/CD pipeline. This included uploading video artifacts for use in debugging test failures. ### Senior Software Engineer @ Procore Technologies Jan 2018 – Jan 2021 | Carpentaria, CA Led the development of 6 React-based products within the Quality and Safety umbrella of tools, acting as a mentor for contractors and full-time engineers. Led meetings involving the design and breakdown of epics into stories and distributed those tasks amongst the team. Used tools like ActionableAgile to provide statistics-based estimates on delivery times of features. Collaborated with backend devs, designers, and PMs to ensure requirements remained correct and intact throughout the development lifecycle. Designed and developed a new product, Action Plans, from the ideation through the general availability phase. This involved traveling to client company locations to gather the requirements necessary for building the application. This was the first product in the company to be entirely written in TypeScript and modern conventional state management solutions like React Context, Hooks, and react-query. This was part of a company-wide initiative to improve architecture and this app championed many of those requirements. Decoupled Ruby on Rails template dependency from the React apps enabling micro-frontend architecture and true separation of concerns between the FE and BE. Improved the company’s internal utility and component libraries which were used by all teams within the company. Removed tech debt by performing major refactors to crucial libraries such as upgrading Webpack v2 to v5. This enabled features to be added to products where they previously weren’t. ### Software Engineer @ Aira Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Greater San Diego Area Developed features for an ElectronJS-based dashboard UI written in Vue and NodeJS. The dashboard included features such as; agent computer metric aggregation to distinguish bottlenecks across the entire business, audio I/O problem detection, and more. The dashboard presents a live camera feed from multiple sources of input with the WebRTC library. Implemented an interactive map with the Google Maps API that tracks and displays user geolocation. Uber and Lyft ordering and tracking capabilities, map zones with custom interactions, and more. This allowed vision impaired users to navigate and use public services with the help of Aira remote human agents. ### Service Engineer @ Microsoft Jan 2015 – Jan 2015 | Redmond, WA Leveraged the windbg debugger and perfmon profiler tools to resolve outages and monitoring alarms for major service-impacting conflicts ranging from network, database, or storage issues. ### Service Engineer @ Microsoft Jan 2014 – Jan 2015 | Redmond, WA Started in Microsoft’s Cloud division under the Commerce branch servicing web apps used by partners selling their apps in Microsoft’s marketplace which handles several billions of dollars in transactions annually. After a re-org I was positioned in the “Operating Systems Group” division where I’m working on performance monitoring tools used by developers internally. Provided back-end server support for services running on Windows Azure and Microsoft’s automated data center management framework. Involved in migrating services off traditional on-premises servers and onto Azure and AutoPilot. Daily tasks include debugging application and system level issues, utilizing PowerShell remoting to perform tasks across thousands, of servers, writing PowerShell scripts to standardize tasks such as patching, fail-overs, and build deployments. Respond to outages and monitoring alarms to resolve or assist in resolving major service impacting conflicts. Contribute in providing input for data center capacity planning, designing network and security components resulting in 99.95% availability, and other topics. ### Service Engineer @ Microsoft Jan 2013 – Jan 2014 | Redmond, Washington Tier 3 level support on the Office 365 SharePoint Online User Experience team responsible for service availability of the BPO-D, BPO-F and Office365 farms within Microsoft. ### Systems and Operations Administrator @ Microsoft Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 | Redmond, Washington Provided incident management and troubleshooting of network, infrastructure and application related problems at the premier Network Operations Center in Microsoft to a large scale enterprise environment supporting over 4,000 servers. ### IT Support/Security Analyst @ Boeing (Contract) Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 | Des Moines, Washington User accounts and groups provisioning through Active Directory and various Linux based applications at The Boeing Company. ### Software Support @ Boeing (Contract) Jan 2010 – Jan 2010 | Bellevue, Washington Tier 2 software and server application troubleshooting at The Boeing Company. ### System Administrator @ Highline Community College Jan 2009 – Jan 2009 | Des Moines, Washington Supported lab of over 1600 workstations and 30 servers. ## Education ### 42 Silicon Valley Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 ### Blockchain NEAR University Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 ### Front End Masters Jan 2017 ### Coursera ### Udemy ### freeCodeCamp ### Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Computer Science Highline Community College Jan 2010 – Jan 2012 ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/arthurzhuk - Website: https://y.at/👉🐐💨 --- Source: https://flows.cv/arthurzhuk JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/arthurzhuk/resume.json Last updated: 2026-03-22
