3. Research projects in Graduate School

•  Preemptive Scheduling in Remote Desktop Grids
Developed an algorithm for preemptive scheduling within and across nodes in remote desktop grids to reduce the overall wait times for jobs in the queue. 

• Design and Implementation of Tapestry
Tapestry is a peer to peer routing infrastructure offering efficient, scalable, location-independent routing of messages. We implemented tapestry by constructing routing tables and designing algorithms for routing and fault-tolerance.


• Design of Distributed MUrgency System (Springer publication 2011)
The project aided the scalability of the prototype MUrgency system (a next generation 911 system) that is being developed at MIND Lab, UMD. The Architecture was designed in such a way as to ensure efficient processing of user requests (load balancing) and to handle fault tolerance.

	• Truth Discovery of Objects Obtained from Sources 
Developed an algorithm that considers dependence between sources in web and the accuracy of their published data in order to determine the truth values of the new data. 

4. Underwent training in .NET FRAMEWORK (Visual Studio) at Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS).

5. Secured top rank in Computer Science as an undergraduate student at Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore, India.
