Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a deep and broad platform of public cloud services that enables customers to build and run array of application in scalable, secure and high-performance environment. APM enables development and operations to monitor and identify issues with Applications by instrumenting applications with Oracle custom tracers. Application tracing is not limited to Oracle custom instrumentation but also support Open tracing, zipkin formats as well. 1. Design and developed flink based microservice for data ingestion. Scale to handle 10000 spans per sec. 2. Design and developed Schema Lifecycle management micro-service. Updates 1000s of schemas for different services in few minutes. Designed common sql libraries for all the schema consumers to integrate such that re-entrant, CBO stats collections, partition clean-up are taken care by default. 3. ADW lifecycle management. Workflows for ADW lifecycle based on tenants onboarding and offboarding. Oracle Management Cloud - Application Performance Monitoring APM analytics provide deep-dive diagnosability to identify the bottle-necks in Applications. This deep-dive capability enables customer to analyze from top-of the stack Application to the under-lying hardware when coupled with OMC Monitoring capabilities. 1. Schema revamp introducing tenant based partitioning thus improving performance improvements. 2. PL/SQL libraries for schema object operations. Include re-entrant modules for table, column, index, constraint, PrimaryKey changes and CBO stats collections. 3. Designed & developed Metadata clean-up modules for reclaiming 600million dangling records. This included redesigning schema tables to be partitioned. 4. Revamped existing unit-tests to leverage templatized APM agent observations json directly instead of instantiating from java. This enabled us to identify the gaps with respect to metadata key generation issues. ### CMTS @ Oracle Jan 2015 – Jan 2022 | Redwood city, CA Oracle Management Cloud - Design and develop Platform Services. OMC has many solutions like LogAnalytics, APM, Monitoring, Security Analytics. All these services life-cycle, Infrastructure resource management, tenant on-boarding are managed by Platform services. Platform primarily performs the Lifecycle operations for the Resources used by various services and tenants subscribed to them. 1. MicroService deployment for services. Deploy micros services along with their dependent infrastructure components like WLS, DB and for maintaining their Service status. Log source and Parser associations for various GreenField targets. 3. Discovery of GreenField targets with credential-less mode for WLS,DB. 4. Integrate ApplicationPerformanceManagement solution with LogAnalytics so that user can navigate across services to verify log related to Application issues. 5. Migration of existing BrownField targets that are indexed in SOLR to GreenField Ids. Updated Solr with Terabytes of data to have new GreenField related values.
