I am a Duke University alum with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, and a minor in Russian Language and Culture. Pasante trabajando en informática, en el departamento de "Hosting Ops." Me concentré en dos proyectos durante mis 10 semanas en SAS. Tenía la oportunidad para trabajar en un entorno informático muy seguro y ayudar en el mantenimiento de seguridad, convirtiendo información (sobre hardware/software que íbamos a poner en el entorno informático) en documentos a una forma que podíamos revisar y autorizar rápidamente, utilizando un sistema de tickets llamado "ServiceNow". También tenía la oportunidad para trabajar en un proyecto llamado "Warranty Automation Project", que es un programa en Linux y Python que analiza datos sintácticamente para que se actualiza una base de datos y después un sistema que los empleados de SAS pueden ver. Los empleados pueden ver la garantía de su equipo que usan en SAS como resultado de este proyecto. Además de explorar aspectos diferentes de informática, Hosting Ops, y más, podía establecer contactos y comunicarme con directores, y crear amistades con otros pasantes. Aprendí mucho sobre SAS y su cultura. He aprendido mucho durante mi experiencia en SAS, y estoy muy agradecida por mi tiempo aquí.
