I’m a strategy-minded operator who turns ambiguity into decisions that stick—by making messy reality legible, surfacing tradeoffs, and building the mechanisms that make execution durable.

I’ve done this in two very different contexts. At Meta (embedded via Hines), I advised Directors/VPs during the COVID→hybrid transition on workplace model and portfolio decisions, running scenario planning and translating cross-functional input into decision-ready recommendations and standards. Afterwards, I intentionally self-taught into software engineering to deepen implementation fluency. Today at Proofpoint, I work in a large, post-acquisition infrastructure environment where “the product” is shared systems used in materially different ways across teams—treating developers as users and improving reliability, performance, and cost decisioning through metrics, tooling, and operating processes.

I’m strongest in roles that sit between strategy and execution: where you need an independent point of view, clear narrative craft, and the ability to translate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education: B.A., St. John’s College, with intensive training in first-principles reasoning and clear writing under uncertainty.

· Led CI observability initiative across thousands of pipelines/1k+ engineers, driven by developer experience KPIs.

· Authored multiple decision/tradeoff memos adopted by leadership; e.g. change management redesign that removed major account-impacting outages vs baseline.

· Shifted cost decisions from infra-only to total cost (infra + developer time) by defining KPIs, running tradeoff analyses, and validating via pilots.

· Built FedRAMP compliance-compatible operating mechanisms (ownership, docs standards, review cadence) to cut operational drag while maintaining controls.
