Tech Lead and Engineer Manager in the Workspace Security Team - focussing on strong foundational security for Google Workspace. My team owns and build new security features to ensure regulatory compliance and offer protection against new threats facing our workspace customers like data exfiltration, account hijacking, privilege escalation, insider attack, etc.
We manage, monitor, govern and secure access of our users to their workspace data via first party or third party web or mobile apps. The infrastructure and products owned by my team enables us to provide ZeroTrust security solutions to our customers.
On the technology front, my team owns several large scale distributed systems serving millions of queries each second analyzing every access to workspace data - keeping the bad actors away.
Besides my primary work I am also contribute towards improving the code health & readability of Google's large codebase and help teams build a better work / team culture. I also advocate for privacy and security to be given more consideration across Google.
