# Ashley Dumaine > Senior II Software Engineer at Akamai Technologies Location: United States, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/ashleydumaine I’m a software engineer with a decade of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining DevOps infrastructure and cloud-native solutions including dozens of Kubernetes clusters across the globe and the software that help runs them. My professional endeavors have taken me across many adventures including designing a better build system, co-leading an internal pilot, tinkering on open source CNCF projects, prototyping a PCI-compliant private cloud, improving an existing revenue-generating product, and even designing a new one. Ready to collaborate and build a better cloud? Let's connect! ## Work Experience ### Senior II Software Engineer @ Akamai Technologies Jan 2023 – Present + Core maintainer for Linode's open-source Karpenter provider to automatically cost-effectively scale LKE clusters + Core maintainer for Linode's open-source cluster-api provider (CAPL) to easily provision production-ready Kubernetes clusters on Linode infrastructure + Coordinating with key stakeholders and architects to assist in development of enterprise-grade Linode Kubernetes Engine (LKE) + Contributing to Linode's open-source Kubernetes repos including the linode-cloud-controller-manager (CCM) and linode-blockstorage-csi-driver ### Senior Software Engineer @ Akamai Technologies Jan 2020 – Jan 2023 + Lead investigation, MVP, and development for Akamai’s next-generation Serverless product. + Designed, prototyped, and spearheaded development on the new development platform for Cloud Native & SaaS Engineering based on Crossplane.
