Mentored 82 undergraduates and helped students develop skills in research, UI design, and interaction design. Students applied skills to design an interactive app over the course of the semester.

• Collaboratively built Voting Matters social media toolkit, a public website that aimed to spread awareness of key dates and facts related to the 2020 election.

• Individually designed 45+ research-informed web infographics to communicate crucial milestones and facts about Michigan voting rights in 2022 presidential election

Analyzed qualitative data from 39 interviews (led 5) with security & compliance team. Integrated findings into 4 prototype iterations for internal security platform.

Client: Michigan Dept. of Health and Human Services | Project: MI Safe Start Map

Collaboratively built 0-to-1 responsive web dashboard to help MDHHS track COVID-19 metrics and inform state/regional reopening timelines. Led cross-functional collaboration between UX and engineering teams.

Constructed process flow based on 3+ SME interviews for Concur/ServiceNow integration that shortened 2020 Q1 onboarding by 2 days and increased Q1 work output by 18% among 22 new hires

Conducted interviews with 5 technical recruiters to identify pain points in recruiting process. Implemented 2 solutions based on findings:

1. Pay calculation tool to automate W2/1099 contract rate conversions; tool increased team's weekly productivity by 120%.

2. Detailed flowchart of end-to-end recruiting process; decreased employee error by 200% and increased profit per recruiter by over 150%.

• Conducted legal research on significant state and local tax updates in the US and presented findings to 100+ workshop attendees at 2017 International Vertex Exchange Conference.

• Mapped out tax software integration workflows to streamline recordkeeping for 5+ RFPs
