We make around 35,000 decisions a day. My nose is running, should I grab 1-ply toilet paper from a stall or use scratchy paper towels to blow my nose? Neither—it’s my job as a product designer to make sure there's already a tissue box in the bathroom so that experiences, like blowing your nose, are a little more enjoyable.
