My passion in creating compelling stories and solving puzzles stems from my childhood exposure to story driven video games and anime and critically thinking of ways to convince my mom to go to Walgreens for a new toy/character to introduce to into the story written in my head.

Ever since my first video game I created and hearing "Oooos" and "Wows" from students in the Computer Science department and UC Davis, I decided I wanted to be a developer. As a filmmaker/animator, without much knowledge in computer science, I went back to community college to take courses, took a boot camp to jump start my foundation, attended events, hackathons, and meetups, joined communities, solving algorithms and creating projects to surround myself in the environment.

I fell in love developing.

What drives my passion in what I develop is my parent's idea of my weakness; being inclusively compassionate of other people and foolishly hard working. My strength is what makes me human. Finding solutions to people's problems is just as fun as researching, developing, debugging, implementing, and more debugging applications. I saw it as a two in one puzzle.

One of my favorite applications I created was when I challenged myself using unfamiliar technologies at Minerva Hackathon 2019. I created a program using facial recognition sending inputs to a microbot water pump hardware in hopes to extinguish the cigarettes of a rehabilitating smoker.

When I'm not coding, I like to sew, draw, sculpt, research about sustainability and healthy lifestyles, play the piano, read manga, novels, and webtoons, play video and board games, watch anime, bake, and many more hobbies I get myself interested in.

I am currently developing a travel health app using React / Redux / Express.js /  MySQL to improve my skills as a full stack web developer.
