Experience
2022 — Now
I lead through hands-on design—shaping workflows, interaction models, and systems to deliver end-to-end, data-informed experiences that enable adoption of emerging technology, reduce complexity, and scale across complex product ecosystems.
My design work includes:
AI Platforms for Citical Environments
Led AI-enabled workflow design and platform UX strategy for security and defense platforms, improving signal recognition, cognitive load management, and decision accuracy in time-critical environments including aircraft maintenance systems and battle management software.
Diagnostic UX addressing critical use errors.
Led redesign of Impedimed’s Sozo Digital Health Platform, improving task flows, data visualization, and reporting. Improved clinical workflow efficiency and diagnostic clarity, supporting safer decision-making.
Transformative UX for IoT Care System
Led UX strategy and hands‑on research and design for HomeSight’s eldercare IoT platform; award-nominated redesign contributed to the company’s 2024 acquisition.
Design for Engagement
0-1 research and design of high-engagement tradeshow experiences for Arthrex, translating complex educational content into intuitive, gamified interfaces; engagement metrics led to commissioning 3 additional games and an educational app.

Technically Complex 0–1 Product Design for the F-35
Led UX/UI for Lockheed Martin to modernize F-35 sensor programming—replacing complex spreadsheets and custom code with an intuitive interface. While managing a portfolio of 4 projects, I owned the most complex initiative, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and participating in development reviews. Originally scoped as a short engagement, the project’s success led to a two-year partnership and multiple internal referrals.
Generative AI for Empowerment, Efficiency, and Human Connection
Defined GenAI UX strategy for Disney’s cast tools—using mixed-method research to turn skeptics into advocates by strategically splitting AI/User tasks to preserve personal touchpoints, using microinteractions and character-driven moments for a uniquely Disney experience.
Custom Design System to Drive Stakeholder and Brand Alignment
Led creation of cross-platform design system for Stryker’s in-OR product suite—spanning a large range of teams and business units. Used cognitive UX, ergonomic standards, and experimentation to unify diverse product team perspectives and needs, driving consistency and performance across the entire portfolio.
AI-Native surgical console
Designed MVP UX for Stryker’s AI-powered console, unifying multi-source imaging with existing interfaces and hardware through a cohesive physical/digital interaction framework and consistent AI image annotations.

Transformed user insights into business outcomes
Designed a scalable UX framework for Stryker’s Q Guidance system—streamlining surgical navigation for cranial and spine procedures. Through heuristic evaluation, user interviews, and iterative testing, reduced complexity (8 pages → 4, 28 clicks → 12), accelerating adoption. Launched in 2023 with $2.3B market value and 2,400+ spine cases in year one.
Democratizing emerging tech, AI and wearables
Redesigned onboarding for the Zio wearable heart monitor to make AI-powered diagnostics accessible and error-resistant. Leveraged consumer interaction patterns and inclusive design to increase ease of use. The result: high patient compliance and clinical-grade performance—11.9 days average wear time and 95.7% analyzable data, nearly identical to in-clinic use.
Designing for Scale: From Fragmented Tools to a Seamless Surgical Ecosystem
Collaborated with 5 product teams to design NuVasive’s minimally invasive spine surgery Pulse Platform. Used a modular approach to integrate capabilities into a single system and feature set. The design used responsive breakpoints to tailor the interface to the role based on device usage. Launched in 2021, the Pulse platform drove significant growth—contributing to $1.139B in net sales, up 8.4% YoY.
Design Team Efficiency & Coaching
Transformed an unstructured design org by defining processes, methods, tools, and self-guided learning paths to accelerate team growth and career development.

Emotional Design for Health and Wellness
Led research and conceptual design addressing patient pain points for Boston Scientific’s SCS system (remote, implant, and software). Designed an emotion-driven patient app to guide users and caregivers through the SCS journey, fostering engagement, activity, and positive reflection. Improved patient perception of treatment by integrating supportive features during pain management.
AI Platform for Cybersecurity
Led design for Raytheon’s AI-powered data visualizations to highlight trends and outliers. Designed an intuitive UX model and pivot controls that allowed users to explore data naturally, unlimited by the interface structure. Delivered a user-centric solution that generated new business through client referrals.
