In my short time at YUMI I successfully executed a comprehensive overhaul of the helloyumi.com website, leveraging flexbox and React components to create a responsive, easy to maintain website with legacy concepts safely removed. Unfortunately due to a change in the business model, the development team was no longer needed.

As an engineer on the Editor team at Evernote, I am responsible for building and maintaining a rich text editing experience in the note editor across web, mobile, and desktop platforms, as well as features well loved by millions of users including clean web clipping into notes, keyboard shortcuts, templates, handwriting, and more. Since the note editor is central to the Evernote app, I often collaborate with other teams at multiple points in the development process to ensure efficient development of larger new features. I also communicate often with the product and design teams around upcoming work, thinking through each potential new feature from both the technical perspective and the user perspective, helping to ensure that we are planning work that will maximize user benefit within the technical and resource constraints.

I am a full-stack software engineer responsible for building and maintaining high quality, tested code that will deliver needed features to our clients in a timely manner. As an active participant in our Scrum practices, I help to hold my team to the high quality standards we hold for ourselves. I am proficient in Angular, with experience migrating a production application from Angular 1.X to Angular 6, and I put a lot of care into building intuitive user experiences. I am also experienced with C#/.NET for maintaining APIs.
