Scandid is a free barcode scanner based shopping mobile application allowing its users with the deals on products from online and nearby local stores. It allows users to find products by scanning the barcode, searching by keywords, or speaking the product name. It aggregates price and availability data across all online retailers in India and provides an easy way for users to compare prices of products. Scandid users have the ability to browse daily deals and offers compiled from hundreds of sources. The mobile application and website have a comprehensive database of product deals in books, electronics, computers, personal care, and home appliances categories.

My Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the framework of new APIs and its implementation. Spearheaded the development part of the projects like Barcode Processing, Rewards and Redemption feature, Crawler for products and coupons and Cohort Notifications based on user transactions.

2. Maintenance of approximately 50 Microsoft Azure Servers on which entire backend infrastructure was based. The addition of new instance servers and maintaining daily processes on them.

3. Solving major bugs and issues of the product.
