Linkcie is an online marketplace that focuses on selling goods that range from clothing to household goods. Linkcie helps small businesses build their own websites at affordable prices so that they can sell their own goods online and promote themselves on a global scale.
As the main designer at Linkcie, I helped create a brand and identity for companies. I provided them with logo designs, business card designs and also additional designs in the form of print. I also worked as the main web designer along with the company's programmers. Communicating with these skilled programmers helped develop my social skills and programming vocabulary with other programmers in the working force. Learning the code that worked behind websites and applications affected my decisions on how to design interfaces in general. It made me understand what interface designs were logical and possible.
