Being passionate about computers, programming them has always been a great source of fun, joy and learning for me. My curiosity behind understanding the intricacies involved in programming computers drives my passion towards solving new challenges and problems in computer science. Graduate Studies in Computer Science at University of Southern California largely inspires me to focus and have interests in various fields.  Having worked as a Software Engineer at Stripe and Amazon, I was able to mould and blend my interests with the industry expectations and was able to deliver various services, Apps and tools that increase the efficiency of various process workflows followed.

• Helped build a new team from ground zero to multiple Engineers and helped prioritizing the team charter, set up / trained engineers for day-day operations such as – on-call, handling high severity incidents.
• Managed an intern who was successfully able execute their project and has a return offer from Stripe
• Led the scoping, designing and implementation of critical components a new distributed service with an availability SLA of 99.99 % to surface the latest exchange rates more frequently for Stripe users that resulted in $ multi-million savings per year.
• Worked across multiple engineering teams to scope, design and implement an API to surface historical exchange rates for async processing resulting saving of Multiple-thousand-dollar savings per month by reducing FX risk.
• Improved the user experience for Stripe users by onboarding exchange rate providers resulting in an opportunity to improve user experience for up to ~90% of foreign exchange transactions.

### Software Development Engineer - II @ Amazon

•	Designed, developing and maintaining a highly scalable, high throughput scheduler that helps different teams across Amazon execute their business logic that handles throughput in order of Multi-Million TPS
•	Proposed and Implemented optimizations for a Availability Critical Large Scale System which resulted in ~ $ Multi-Million / Year savings without any down-time
•	Designed, developing a large scale, distributed consistency check framework that enabled customer teams across Amazon avoid massive downtimes in their services ( in-order of hours / year )

### Software Engineer @ Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited
Jan 2014 – Jan 2015
• Developed a tool to manage and sync issues across JIRA and internal bug reporting tools using Java and JIRA SOAP services.
Decreased the sync time by 40% in comparison with earlier processes defined for the same task.
• Implemented an automation process for summarization of code quality metrics by designing a tool using Java, VBA Scripts, JIRA
SOAP Services. Reduced the time of summation process from 3 hours to ~ 5 minutes
