# Audrey Lewis > Product Designer | AI-Driven SaaS | Turning Complex Products into High-Impact Experiences Location: Portland, Oregon, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/audreylewis I transform complex digital products into intuitive, scalable, and high-impact experiences. With over 8+ years designing SaaS platforms, I have learned the answer lies in understanding both technical infrastructure and the humans who need to use it. I’m drawn to products that sit at the intersection of structure and experience. The most meaningful work I’ve done hasn’t been about adding features, but is about reframing the problem, reducing noise, and designing systems that feel clear and intentional to the people using them. My work has driven measurable outcomes, including annual revenue growth, reduced operational friction by 75%, and created AI interfaces that changed how users interact with everyday tasks. My design philosophy holds true: translate technical complexity into intuitive experiences, practice exceptional craft, partner closely with engineering and product to validate assumptions early, and stay focused on outcomes that drive retention, revenue, and satisfaction. Representative accomplishments: • AI-powered platform design with proven revenue impact • Design system architecture that accelerates delivery and consistency • Enterprise workflow optimization for complex, data-heavy products I bring expertise in AI interface design, design system architecture, predictive analytics UX, and front-end collaboration. MA in Systems Design, BS in Mechanical Engineering. Certified in Claude (Anthropic) and Product Management (Product School). ## Work Experience ### Product Designer @ Ford Pro Jan 2023 – Present I design the interfaces that help fleet managers understand what's happening with their equipment in real time. The platform pulls in telemetry and sensor data from thousands of vehicles and construction assets, then surfaces predictive maintenance alerts, usage patterns, and performance metrics. Different users need different things, ie a mechanic diagnosing a problem works differently than an executive reviewing fleet health across multiple regions, so I spend a lot of time thinking about role-based access and information hierarchy. A few of my top accomplishments in this role include: - AI Workflows & Optimized Customer Journey - Beta Program Testing and Coordination - Improved Information Architecture and Navigation - Competitive Analysis and Product Growth Strategy ### Product Designer/Mangager @ Downstream Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | Portland, Oregon I worked as an embedded designer for Google and several enterprise clients, focusing on technical products where the user experience challenges were equally about aesthetics and about making complex systems comprehensible. A few of my core contributions in this position include: - Quantum Computing Visualization - Client Design Delivery - Internal Platform for Google ### Product Designer and Branding @ Angry Gods® Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 | Portland, Oregon, United States I joined this e-commerce brand during a pivot phase when they needed to understand their customers better and fix conversion problems in the purchase flow. My role was part product designer, part analyst—redesigning the platform while also building the analytics infrastructure to track what was actually working. A couple of my chief achievements in this role include: - Platform Redesign & Growth: I increased customer acquisition by 32% over two months and hit a 10% conversion rate by modernizing the platform and repositioning the brand based on customer behavior analysis. We identified where people were dropping off in the funnel and redesigned those touchpoints to reduce friction. - Customer Analytics Foundation: I built tracking for acquisition cost, retention, and lifetime value, then used segmentation modeling to figure out which customer groups were most valuable. This gave the team a foundation for deciding where to invest marketing dollars and which products to emphasize. ### Product Designer @ Maxar Technologies Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 I designed products for satellite operations and defense applications, ie. environments where mistakes can have serious consequences and users need interfaces that work under pressure. I shipped seven products by creating detailed personas, defining requirements, and building roadmaps that balanced what was technically possible with what operators actually needed in the field. I facilitated sprint planning with a six-person engineering team, keeping things moving in fast agile cycles while meeting strict security and performance requirements for government and commercial clients. ### Interactive Spaces Designer / Game Designer @ Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark ### OMSI Curriculum Development and Workshop Designer @ OMSI Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Portland, Oregon Area ### Exhibition Designer @ Design Week Portland Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | Portland, Oregon, United States ### Design Engineer, Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation @ Nike Jan 2016 – Jan 2019 | Beaverton, Oregon I designed Air cushioning systems for performance footwear, working on launches like the Air Max 200 and Olympic 100m track spike. The role sat at the intersection of industrial design, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing, taking innovative cushioning concepts and figuring out how to actually produce them at scale. I collaborated with 15+ engineers and product managers across international manufacturing facilities, balancing performance targets, material constraints, cost requirements, and aesthetic goals. ## Education ### Product Management Certification Product School ### Professional Certification in Product Management Coursera ### MA Design Systems in UI/UX Design and Collaborative Practices, Design and Applied Arts Pacific Northwest College of Art ### Interactive Spaces Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design ### Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering Portland State University ### Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature Universidad de Granada ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/audrey-lewis-19904849 - Portfolio: https://audreys-portfolio.lovable.app/login --- Source: https://flows.cv/audreylewis JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/audreylewis/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-19
