Project to create seamless pipeline for processing next-gen sequencing data along with user input. Pipeline designed to greatly reduce time spent wrangling data. Used bash scripting, cluster computing, sequencing software, and R.
Created access history page to surface activity stats to clients. Revamped file upload feature to greatly increase upload speed-- improved end user experience as well as reducing the time spent by product officers dealing with client upload issues. Used Ruby on Rails, JavaScript on React/Redux, Swagger APIs, CSS.
Team lead for Duke’s hackathon for social good. Responsible for planning and coordinating key elements of hackathon to ensure its success. Also helped organize and launch Ideate, bringing the first design conference to students in the Triangle area.
