Currently working on the Checkout experience and flow on web. Previously on Airbnb for Work.

On the product side, I migrated and refactored multiple critical host-side applications to our modern technical stack, improving UX and page performance for millions of hosts. On the infra side, I built web components on the central design systems team, DLS, using advanced frontend patterns to make React components highly composable, accessible, and styleable.

Builder and maintainer of the product dashboard, built on the web using React (via Next.js) for page layout and server-side rendering; react-query for data-fetching; and TailwindCSS for styling.

Responsible for the ideation, architecture, quality consistency, documentation, and testing of the Shipt web app, written in React and Redux. Designed the deployment pipeline, abiding closely with CI principles and agile methodologies, and encouraged disciplined and advanced use of Git to maintain a tight delivery process. Contributed to the development and practice of a strong engineering culture for the web team with an emphasis on functional programming, testing, detailed code reviews, and frequent pair programming.

Extensive work on the front-end UI, built in AngularJS and written in TypeScript. Learned a great deal about JavaScript patterns, type systems, functional programming, and micro-service architectures.
