Jan 2019 – Present | San Francisco, California, United States Started as a software Engineer Apprentice. Now I work as a L3 engineer on the Risk Services team building and maintaining web applications for internal and external customers. ### Climatebase Fellow @ Climatebase Jan 2023 – Jan 2023 Participated in Cohort 3 of the Climatebase Fellowship ### Research Assistant @ University of California, Berkeley Jan 2019 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area • Study the long-term effects of different compost types on soils in California ecosystems, including their impact on the soil's carbon sequestration capacity. • Used python to automate the compilation of data from the lab GC. It takes in the files from one sampling date (usually 150+), scrapes the data, and puts it into a .csv file for further analysis. • The program is used by multiple graduate students and postdocs in research labs at UC Berkeley. ### Research Technician @ University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Area • Calculated soil respiration with greenhouse gas samples (carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane fluxes) collected using static chambers using R studio • Created a model that takes in the concentration of gases from the GC, calculates the flux, and exports the data into .csv files for further analysis.
