# Awais Imran > Senior Product Designer Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/awais Portfolio: awaisimran.com Email: me@awaisimran.com Founder turned B2B product designer and leader with a background in software engineering. 10 years of experience leading end-to-end product design from inception to delivery and iterating post-launch, in close collaboration with product and engineering, primarily in a B2B context. I've worked across all major platforms β€” web, mobile, desktop, and TV. Additionally, have 2 years of experience building and leading design teams. Prior to my transition to product design, I was a software engineering undergrad dabbling in Internet entrepreneurship. As a college student, I co-founded, quickly grew and sold two online publications for a combined $33,000, and then co-founded PriceOye β€” Pakistan's largest mobile phone seller and second largest online store (later backed by Peter Thiel and other VCs). Back then, I was frequently featured on Pakistani media for being an extraordinary talent. Outside of the 9-to-5, I help product companies find the best designers and product managers in Pakistan. I have an exceptionally strong tech network through the UXDP community β€” the most active design group with 10K+ members in the country that I started in 2016. I've recruited 20+ world-class professionals directly, and connected hundreds of designers and hiring managers. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer + Design Engineer, Internal Tools @ Motive Jan 2025 – Present | San Francisco, CA πŸͺƒ Besides core product design work, I've shipped 2 internal design tools to help us move faster, both built with Cursor: 1) Crank Copy is a UX copywriting assistant that leverages our internal writing guidelines + Gemini to generate high quality copy. This saves 20+ hours across the entire team per week, and supercharges our small UX copywriting team to do a whole lot more with less. 2) Crank Data lets designers one-click paste Motive-specific realistic content into their mockups. What would usually take tens of minutes per flow now takes seconds. ### Founding Product Designer @ Coram AI Jan 2025 – Jan 2025 | Sunnyvale, California, United States Coram was a blast to work at.
