•  Led a collaborative research project between Stevens Institute of Technology and Unilever R&D to unlock the secret of water composition and distribution in human skin at high spatial resolution so to that a better understanding of dry skin condition can be accomplished.
The project consists of data acquisition, data processing and sample preparation. Sample preparation was made in Unilever, while data acquisition and data processing were accomplished by me at Stevens institute. I was the solely owner of the project.

• 3D data was acquired using Cryo-EM in STEM mode and electron energy loss spectroscopy EELS. 

• I developed a sophisticated software for the department to process hyper-spectral 3D imaging. The software was developed using CodeWarrior platform and turbo pascal language.

The capability of the software:
 Image processing, deconvolution of EELS spectra, first principals to measure the composition, visualization, machine learning to measure spatial drift in data.
