I independently lead after school workshops that made technology and its creative uses accessible to children aged 7-12. I engaged workshops of up to 8 students and was responsible for rapidly learning, internalizing, and teaching emerging digital technologies. I encouraged students to learn skills in programming, game design, problem solving, and synthesizing multiple technologies. Additionally, I was responsible for proposing and writing new curriculum as well as interpreting existing curriculum in the workshops I lead.

I worked under a lead programmer and designer to develop a family-friendly platforming game on iOS and Android using Unity 2D. I developed and implemented level designs, the GUI, and dialogue for the game. I was responsible for programming any new mechanics or tools necessary for my work, and I oversaw art development, carried out by two student illustrators and myself.

Acting as a team leader, I coordinated with coworkers to provide excellent customer service and maintain an efficient, high quality work environment. I assisted in taking, preparing, and serving orders. I also guided and trained coworkers in organized, efficient preparatory, cleaning, and closing procedures.
