I am a critical thinker and complex problem solver, having designed digital tools and systems for various industries, like finance, medicine, enterprise resource management, and cybersecurity. I've combined an engineering background with user design expertise and partnered with a lone developer to build a startup from the ground up. How products and systems are structured can determine their success; I prioritize Information Architecture, and plan for implementation early on. I believe in the value of user research and testing, and I'm a proponent of rapid prototyping. I'm a strong collaborator and facilitator, and I use design thinking and participatory design process to help structure our work and guide our teams.
