• Drove design for 0-1 AI tool incorporating ambient listening into physician processes in an effort to reduce time spent writing notes, one of the leading causes of burnout.
• Led usability testing and information gathering sessions with physicians leading to early stage release of AI ambient listening tool.

• Led 0-1 project, including discovery, research and design efforts, for BJC’s first in-house employee scheduling platform, BJC Flex, which powered over 1.4 million hours of shifts picked up within its first year and reduced reliance on costly travel nurses by 34%.
• Partnered with cross-collaborative teams including stakeholders, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and engineers to inform human-centered design and business initiative alignment, increasing overall team efficiency, cohesion, and output.
• Conducted interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, and usability tests with spectrum of care team floor staff and leadership to ensure need, effectiveness, and intuitiveness of digital and physical tools and processes, including inpatient throughput, virtual nursing, patient engagement systems, and scheduling.
• Ran pilot studies in individual units to ensure accessibility and intuitiveness of tools, then refined before expanding to other units and across the BJC system, validating use cases to mitigate potential costs.
