As part of the product design team, I collaborate with designers, product managers and engineers to design and prototype products to aid the development of autonomous vehicle stacks. I use code and data in the design process to bring ideas to life.

Work closely with users to understand their workflow, needs and goals when using the Five platform.

Iteratively develop prototype React components using the Material design system, using Storybook to communicate designs to stakeholders and provide engineers with functional code for use in their design implementation.

Join product teams to kick-start their product development through rapid prototyping sprints to explore possible product directions.

Played a key role in developing the SaaS platform that lead to Five’s acquisition by Bosch in April 2022.
Explored the intersection of UX and Site Reliability Engineering, learning about the importance of measuring reliability as perceived by the user.

Built a monitoring service that integrates with client-side code with the aim of automatically measuring user-perceived metrics to detect more quickly and prioritise weaknesses and failures affecting user experience.
Investigated how data science could be used to aid the design process. Worked on early prototypes of a tool that generates insight-driven archetypes based on social media data.

Ventured out of my comfort zone, working in a team designing and building a prototype of a personal food computer, a concept developed by MIT Media Lab, as part of the connected food project. Our final product was exhibited in the "AI: More than Human" Exhibition at the Barbican Centre.
Took on UX design and front end React development responsibilities of a vital system that is improving the efficiency of scheduling delivery trucks between Amazon warehouses through machine learning and automation.
