# Benjamin Korngiebel > Identity and Access Management @ Ridgeline Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/benjaminkorngiebel Summer 2022 I had the opportunity to work at Ridgeline as part of their Users and Permissions team in a full-stack role. While there, I was able to develop a new 'shortcode' feature for users, saving valuable space on data dense pages. I was responsible for making changes to the database, APIs, and the UI, and the project was pushed into production by the end of my internship. In 2021, with school being online, I took time off to work as a software engineer at Credo AI, developing a program to independently assess one of our client’s facial recognition models as well as various packages for data scientists to use within our product. Along the way, I was responsible for communicating and negotiating with a third-party vendor in order to acquire a facial image dataset, while also gaining valuable experience with JupyterLab, a live coding environment, as well as with packages like numpy and pandas. For most of the year I single handedly ran the data science team, developing products from start to finish over short time frames. During the summer of 2020, I worked at ASRC Federal, a defense contractor, where we engineered solutions for aftermarket military equipment. I constructed one-shot circuit boards for use in the Bell OH-58D Kiowa Helicopters, designed a Wire Harness Engineering Standard document, and manufactured cables for the Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem test units. ## Work Experience ### Software Engineer @ Ridgeline Jan 2024 – Present IAM shouldn't be confusing. It should be intuitive for customers to configure and easy for developers to check. I enjoy thinking of ways to streamline this process and then implementing them. ### Product Engineer Intern @ Ridgeline Jan 2022 – Jan 2022 | Incline Village, Nevada, United States Developed a new feature for users that allowed them an optional shortened display name to reduce redundant information on data dense pages. Modified database schema, APIs, and UI to accommodate this new feature which was pushed to production at the end of my internship. ### Software Engineering Intern @ Credo AI Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 Developed framework to perform independent assessments of companies' AI and ML models. Led communications with third-party vendors to acquire data within companies' specifications for assessments. ### Electrical Engineering Intern @ ASRC Federal Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | Grantsburg, Wisconsin, United States Constructed one-shot circuit board for use in Bell OH-58D Kiowa helicopter. Designed Wire Harness Engineering Standard document and manufactured cables for Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem test units. ## Education ### Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Stanford University ### Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies Stanford University ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/benjamin-korngiebel --- Source: https://flows.cv/benjaminkorngiebel JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/benjaminkorngiebel/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-11
