# Benjamin Lebovitz > Sr. Art Director / Design Lead for Critical Mass at  Location: San Francisco, California, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/benjaminlebovitz Ben Lebovitz is an American Creative Director and artist with a focus on work that addresses social impact around human rights and environmental policy within the realm of interactive and brand design. Lebovitz subscribes to the belief that design has the power to influence the brands we love by aligning with values that we care about. And just like one another (people,) brands who share altruistic values win when the services and story align with what their audiences care about. This type of thinking also provides deeper morale for those who are building that brand. Lebovitz's award winning creative work for Google Brand Studio, The Equal Justice Initiative, The National Parks Service, and Nike/Jordan are rooted in the same brand growth ideology: shift perspectives to greater understand one another; provide tools for education and accessibility; and empower one another through new experiences. This passion driven ideology exudes beyond Lebovitz's professional career and is exemplified in everyday pursuits through personal projects and objectives. Lebovitz's artistic film “Borders” (2017) played on the world's largest synchronized outdoor space, to help shift the perspective around shared land by finding the similarities between both political and natural divides with a top down view: When we see the world without boundary lines and labels, we see a shared ecosystem. This film played in Times Square for an entire month, across 80% of the digital screens at the same time. Through his development of the brewery South of North, Lebovitz created a brand with an impetus on water conservation and environmental practices. The brewery uses water derived from a unique source of snow melt and rainfall to produce a beer without compromise, which the branding reflects. Additional alignment is exemplified through the support of first responders and forrest service workers. Furthermore this is embodied through the development of an employee handbook that outlines the consequences of mishaps to be reconciled with paid volunteer servitude to the parks service.
