I work closely with principal investigator Satchin Panda and have developed and published an iPhone app to record location and light data for his study on circadian rhythms. The app requires me to use and study Objective-C, Swift, the iOS SDK, and various frameworks. I also developed a backend and website for the app using PHP and MySQL that displays data collected by study subjects and provides options to export the data for analyzing

Another ongoing project with Dr. Panda has been the development of a portable Raspberry Pi based system for recording light, temperature, and humidity data.

I designed and implemented a RESTful API for Medtronic's glucose monitoring iOS app using Node.js and PostgreSQL. I then developed an Objective-C framework that abstracts interactions with the API and integrated it into the app. To demonstrate the possibilities my API creates, I developed an Amazon Alexa skill using Amazon Lambda that enables patients to ask for important statuses of the glucose sensor and transmitter using natural language. Finally, I integrated the app with Apple's HealthKit to support blood glucose and exercise syncing.
