Lead engineer in charge of the Financial Transactions & Bookkeeping platform worldwide.
Designed, re-built and maintained Eventbrite’s in-house bookkeeping distributed transactional architecture to support near real-time and high availability throughput.
Designed and built Eventbrite’s in-house financial transactions corrections subsystem to be resilient and fast, allowing for simpler visualization and traceability of complex historical highly mutable data.
Redesigned multiple financial data pipelines and internal APIs to be flexible enough to meet our multiple stakeholder’s SLAs and reporting needs.
Maintained the financial infrastructure in charge of controlling, reporting and internal/external reconciliation of payments (payins), reversals, payouts, invoices and charges & credits among other financially relevant transactions.

Lead engineer in charge of the Payments Processing platform worldwide.
Designed and built Eventbrite's payment instrument vault architecture, which allows storing and operating with any type of payment instrument while being redundant in case of payment vendors not being available or the need to redistribute the load.
Integration and support of old and new payment vendors (Braintree, Cybersource, Auth.net, PayPal, Adyen, Affirm, iDEAL, SOFORT) as well as new payment instruments and payment notifications processing, allowing the company to expand its payment capabilities and lower their fees in current and new markets.
Redesign and implement disputes (retrieval requests, chargebacks and pre-arbitrations) files processing and automation (First Data, AmEx, Omnipay, Braintree).
Lead consultant for several key components and projects like: Full stack payment processing, Cashless wristbands, Facebook/Braintree integration, Facebook/PayPal integration, Giact identity verification and risk profiling.
Worked with and built several in-house technologies like service oriented architecture (SOA), end-to-end / in memory crypto utilities, credit card management, among others.
