`Hello, world!`, these two simple words changed the trajectory of my life forever. Building this simple web page ignited a passion in me for all things software. Since then, I have spent my burgeoning career-building growing my technical expertise while building admin tools for enterprise products used by millions of users. During my journey, I have worked tirelessly to learn the practical foundations of software engineering using JavaScript, Node, Ruby, Rails, and C# and apply what I've learned to solve increasingly complex technical challenges. Jan 2020 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area
- Developed features for GitHub Enterprise users include ‘verifiable domains’ requested 
by a large enterprise customer using Ruby and Rails

- Worked on `Wall-E` initiative to reduce technical debt across the team's areas of responsibility including writing refactoring existing code to make it DRY(er)

- Pair programmed regularly with Senior Engineers to deep dive into the codebase, learn 
workflows, as well as how the team uses DevOps tooling to build software including 
Docker, Janky (CI/CD), and Data Dogs

### Software Engineer @ npm, Inc.
Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Oakland, California
- Delivered customer self-service functionality including `self-unpublish` feature reducing 
   support tickets per week by 100 using React, Node, and JavaScript

- Built microservice API mocks to facilitate test-driven development using Swagger

- Tackled a variety of tech debt including but not limited to improving test coverage 
   in existing microservices as well as updating log messages to be more user friendly

- Facilitated daily ‘Knowledge Sharing’ sessions to facilitate learning and growth of 
   other myself as well as other engineers

- Managed daily schedules of the company’s c-suite executives including the CEO, COO, and 
  two co-founders across multiple time zones

- Oversaw the HR function during a 260% increase in headcount including on-boarding/off-boarding, benefits, and payroll

- Successfully planned company’s annual $200,000 five day off-site in Napa including coordinating menus, accommodations, air and ground transportation for 60 attendees

the overall average of delinquent accounts from 120 days to 60 days
