Delivered as a service, Intersight bridges applications and infrastructure, providing full-stack visibility from bare-metal servers, hypervisors, to Kubernetes, serverless, and applications. It is powered by Go(lang) based microservices that run as docker containers on a self hosted kubernetes cluster. The microservices interact over Kafka and using MongoDB for persistence.
As a member of Intersight's Infrastructure team, I am responsible for design and delivery of many of the infrastructure components for consumption by application teams such as Kubernetes, (Hashicorp) Vault, Consul, Istio, etc. as well as provisioning many AWS services like ALB, WAF, Security groups, Auto scaling groups, S3, etc. through a framework (library) with specific focus on security.
