Built the Platform9 remote management and SaaS stack from the ground up, enabling open source stacks e.g. OpenStack and Kubernetes to be deployed on customers' private datacenters and centrally managed from a cloud control plane. Built and released the first iteration of the Managed Kubernetes product. Launched open source projects in the cloud native / kubernetes area, including Decco and more recently, Arlon. Those were presented at conference talks including Kubecon.

### Principal Engineer @ VMware

Most recently developed a web browsing security product that utilizes advanced virtualization methods. Technologies used include Javascript, Python, C++ and Google Chrome. Previous project involved inspecting and manipulating mobile backend API traffic using an SSL enabled HTTP proxy written in node.js. Earlier projects include virtual appliance management, x86 virtualization, USB device emulation, physical-to-virtual conversion tools, virtual machine cloning and provisioning technologies, virtual machine disk and file system management. Over 21 patents granted.

### Software Engineer @ Hewlett Packard
Jan 1995 – Jan 1999
In Cupertino, CA: original developer of the ARIES dynamic translator which allows PA-RISC / HPUX programs to run unmodified on Itanium architecture systems. Worked closely with OS and compiler, and linker groups.
In Palo Alto, CA: as part of HP-LABS, participated in the MADE project, an experimental Windows single-image cluster.
