• Defined the technical direction, planned quarterly roadmaps, managed day-to-day sprint work, and invested in the performance and career development of 6 engineers on the Consumer Platform team responsible for the design and development of platform tools to accelerate product engineering across frontend and backend
• Modernized the entire customer-facing web application platform onto Remix, resulting in a 45% reduction in P90 loading time performance, an 82% reduction in build time, and a 36% reduction in production bundle size
• Launched and drove adoption of a new, cross-platform, token-based design system and component library in collaboration with design and product
• Spearheaded the company-wide deprecation and migration of 450 experiments and feature flags by a tight contract deadline to a new experimentation platform with developer-centric APIs and 80% lower latency
• Led 4 engineers across 2 teams to launch a revamp of the Opendoor mobile app over a quarter, and then chartered the app’s future direction with limited engineering resources
• Hired a Staff Engineer and a Mobile Infrastructure team with complex and niche job requirements
• Resolved an org-level interviewer shortage by instrumenting a simplified training process for senior engineers
• Attained 100/100 engagement scores on all team health and manager questions in semiannual pulse surveys
• Unlocked the potential of every team member by either increasing their scope or readying them for promotion

• Expanded analytics coverage among all customer-facing applications by instrumenting automatic event tracking across core components of the design system, adding 1 million customer events per day, which democratized the collection of business insights and engineering metrics for monitoring and debugging
• Improved the page-to-page performance of the seller onboarding flow, reducing the loading time from 1.2s to 48ms and increasing email conversion by 3.2%
• Built and validated the unified marketing data tables with marketing stakeholders, providing unprecedented visibility into company marketing spend and savings of 20-30 hours/week of data entry and $1 million/year
• Redesigned and revamped Opendoor homepage using the server rendered Next.js framework, improving its Google Lighthouse page speed score from 30 to 60 on mobile and 70 to 95 on desktop
• Led engineers across 3 teams to launch the customer dashboard, creating an e-commerce-like experience with easy-to-remember URLs and an overview of all Opendoor transactions of the customer while increasing visual and functional test coverage by >50% and building a new design system and information architecture
• Designed and implemented faster and localized ads landing pages, decreasing cost per acquisition (CPA) by 8%

Working in the Object Storage team of Oracle's newest cloud venture - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Major projects include:
Pre-Authenticated Requests (PAR)
• Designed, implemented, and maintained the PAR feature for sharing resources via server-vended URIs manageable after creation and immune to credential rotation, a key differentiator among competitors
• Engineered around various challenges to store PAR metadata as invisible objects in object storage
Object-Level Audit Logs (OAL)
• Led the design and development of extending audit log generation to object-level requests, providing customers with visibility into object storage usage at a higher granularity
• Unblocked Fortune 500 customers to onboard to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Data Transfer Service (DTS)
• Launched DTS with General Availability, enabling migration of terabytes of data from on-premise data centers to object storage, a major leap toward enterprise lift-and-shift
• Spearheaded integration with platform services including metering, auditing, and identity management
• Mentored new engineers on team onboarding and software engineering best practices
Canary Service
• Rearchitected the canary using object-oriented design patterns, including wrapper, composite, and factory methods, enabling other team members to easily maintain and extend the software
Also extended the Swift- and S3- compatible APIs of Object Storage to help build a richer partner ecosystem.
Previously worked in the Solaris Core Services team:
• Developed and maintained the Python-based Solaris Image Packaging System (IPS) for delivering software
• Extended IPS’ support for temporary package sources, e.g. package archives, to more packaging operations
