- Sole senior engineer for a team that managed all A2P protocols (SMS, email, push notifications) for Amazon SNS.
- Acted as project owner for a three year project to rearchitect all SMS-related functionality for the service. As part of this, I wrote technical design documents, drove decisions across multiple partner teams, managed the project-related work of four other engineers, ran security and operational reviews, and contributed a large amount of code as well.
- Drove consensus across the four teams within my organization to reduce the time required for global code deployments by 30% without reducing deployment safety.
- Ran an investigation across multiple partner teams that resulted in a 32% reduction of non-revenue generating workloads performed by SNS in one of our largest AWS regions.
- Mentored and ran office hours for new engineers.
