Many HR and benefits consultants unintentionally overwhelm employees with a firehose of information about their benefits plans. This can result in the employees not understanding their benefits to take full advantage. Worse yet, they are falsely led to believe their company offer poor plans.
My job was to simplify these communications by providing clean and structured user-centric designs. Often this resulted in the employees using their benefits more effectively, the companies being happier that their employees are content, and the brokerage better able to keep these clients.
