Spearheaded development of 6 new projects. Laid groundwork so other developers could ramp up quickly with good documentation and well-organized codebases.
Developed the ability to migrate visualizations from the Azure Portal to Grafana working closely with UX designers to refine reqs, iterate on design, and ensure accessibility.
Fostered collaborative environment, leading efforts to build team unity through organizing weekly team chats, active encouragement of pair programming when needed, and heading up Azure-wide book club discussions.
Learned Go while developing plugins for Grafana and provided dev environments powered by Docker and VSCode dev containers so other engineers on team could get up and running quickly with unfamiliar language.
