Product engineer on UberEats.com, building fast, scalable consumer-facing features serving millions of users. Improved the checkout experience using server-driven UI (SDUI) and server-side rendering via Fusion.js to reduce average load times by 3s. Designed and built the pickup map experience on mobile web, creating a beautiful experience optimized for UX and perfomance and across client surfaces.

The Foundations team was responsible for all core systems across Westfields many web and mobile customer facing products which primarily encompassed auth and payments. In this role, I oversaw the migration of our in-house authentication system and close to 5m accounts to Auth0. I was also part of the launch of the digital only gift card experience, enabling users to onboard gift cards directly to Apple Pay/Google Pay.

The FinOps team was responsible for building the new finance core operations portal which included all invoicing, payments, scheduling, and analytics for oOh! Media's out-of-home advertising catalogue. As the Senior Engineer, I was responsible for scoping technical requirements, distributing work, enforcing scalable development patterns and delivery across multiple work streams. The project involved building a modern SPA from the group up in React/Typescript with a Python/Django api. We used AWS Kinesis for event streaming and dashboard generation.

Circle was a fintech startup in the personal banking space. As Lead Software Engineer, I was responsible for designing and building the foundations of all our backend services, consumer experiences and infrastructure which included our native mobile app (React Native), Python Flask API, Python Selenium webscrapper, and docker-based CI/CD and deployment pipeline.
