# Brandon Buck > Senior Software Engineer at Prism.fm Location: Austin, Texas, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/brandonbuck I develop software and I love every minute of it. My drive is to grow my knowledge and I enjoy picking up and learning new technologies and building on top of older technologies. In the process I have learned to use many different types of languages. I've built websites, languages, utility libraries and iOS applications. I've done most of these things (were applicable) with more than one platform/language/framework to achieve the goal in the way best suited for the task. I love to analyze a code base and look for improvements in readability or performance as well as find pathways for reuse and minimization. I take the DRY (don't repeat yourself) coding concept seriously, although not too far. Sometimes it's best to repeat something but most of the time there is a better solution waiting to be found. I pick up and adapt fast, and I'm very personable which makes me a great addition to any team. I work hard to keep the team together and interactive with each other and actively promote communication between not just the developers but the rest of the company and the developers. I love to write tools that can be used to automate repetitive processes and speed up productivity and I strive to make these tools as simple as possible to make them consumable by a larger group of people. ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ Prism.fm Jan 2024 – Present | Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area Aid in building and improving the web services offered. ### Co-Founder @ Gaming Gosu Jan 2024 – Present | Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area I helped cofound a fun gaming start up with a friend of mine, together we designed and built an online presence for sharing and communicating around trading card games.
